CBC Radio Thunder Bay is hosting a Town Hall, THE FUTURE OF THUNDER BAY: WHAT'S IN IT FOR OUR KIDS?

The community event  takes place Wednesday March 3rd, starting at 7 pm in the Bora Laskin Theater, Lakehead University. Lisa Laco, the host of the Great Northwest, will moderate.
We will explore the hopes, visions, and expectations for the future of the city, from the viewpoint  of the younger generation. As well,  we want to engage young people from high school, college and university, and families who wonder whether their children be able to continue to live here.

The evening kicks off with a motivational speech from Anthony LeBlanc. Anthony was raised in Thunder Bay.  Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Ice Edge Holdings, LLC., a company that was formed to acquire the Phoenix Coyotes Hockey Club.  He'll speak on how Thunder Bay's location and passion for sports, can ensure a strong future. His talk will be the catalyst for a discussion by young people and parents on their vision for the future of the city. Audience members are encouraged to ask questions and offer their thoughts throughout the forum.

Join us and share your hope and dreams for Thunder Bay.
